POEMS: The Call , Worship & God Knows Best

The Call
When the guilty die,
They die for their sins.
For what cause then
Do the innocent die?

God seeing the good work
Ni which they are engrossed
Invites them to His Kingdom.
                                                                                JOSEPH K. ARHIN

Worship
In the worldly paths of this world
Walk numberless pious mortals
Claiming purity of soul and flesh.
Each contends for our love
Bearing the vast, the horn and bag.
Loudly to Heaven their voices rise,
Leaving your cares here below.
Virtue loses credit with their acts
Satan blushes at their smiles.
                                                                                LOUIS CUDJO AGBOSU

God Knows Best
He knows when days will be sunny,
And the clouds will roll away,
When men will show their teeth,
Laughing loudly, glad and gay.

He knows when it will be stormy
And the clouds will show grayish dark,
When men’s hearts full of sorrows
Will write sadness on their faces.

He knows best, let the world know it
That in distress and in danger,
One and all must call on Him
To weather the storm of our emotions.
